Mark Casey

Mark Casey has been a member of the Northwest CT Public Safety Board of Directors since November 2002. He came to our Board with an extensive background in Communications and Emergency Medical Services. Mark is currently employed at St. Mary’s Hospital, in Waterbury, as the Director of Security and Emergency Preparedness. His emergency services background began in 1981 as an Emergency Medical Technician with Campion Ambulance. Mark later “made the move” to MedStar Ambulance, along with his brothers, Garrett, Richard and Chris. Mark climbed the ladder at MedStar, and also when they became American Medical Response, to become the Communication Manager for the entire Northeast Division. He left AMR in 1999, to take his current position at St. Mary’s Hospital. Mark has been married to his wife, Suzanne, for 22 years. He lives in Waterbury with Suzanne and his two children, Caitlin and Michael.
